Max Verstappen: "Spa was a positive race for us: everything was quite straightforward all weekend and it was nice to achieve 130 podiums with the Team.

For Hungary, it is the last race before summer break so is the final push. It is a totally different track and different layout compared to Spa and we will need to see how everything comes together and make sure we get everything right with the set-up of the car. It makes a big difference how you start the weekend and hopefully we hit the ground running so we can be as competitive as possible. It is exciting to see how we will perform there; we always get great support from the fans in Hungary, so we are looking forward to being back."

Isack Hadjar: "It's great to come straight into Budapest after such a positive weekend in Spa and carry that momentum with us. The car felt really strong all weekend, and the result proved that. It was a shame to have to start from the back, but we maximised what we could and now head into this one with a clean slate. The Hungaroring suits us a bit more with the low-speed corners, so that should help us get the most out of our deployment. The Team and I have been working flat out since January, and with one last push this week, we're hoping to go into the well-earned break on a high note."

Isack's charge through the field in Belgium was the result of both a bold strategic call from the Team and an incredible drive behind the wheel. After a strong opening stint that saw him climb from P21 to P18 in the opening laps, Isack and the Team seized the opportunity presented by the early Safety Car to reshape his race.

Pitting under the first Safety Car, the Team moved him off his starting Hard tyres onto Mediums before bringing him back in a lap later for a fresh set of Hards. The call effectively reset his race, creating a tyre advantage and opening the door to significant gains as others around him remained committed to more conventional plans.

From there, Isack executed the strategy brilliantly, combining strong pace, intelligent tyre management and decisive overtaking to carve his way through the field. The result was one of the standout recovery drives of the 2026 Season, with Team strategy and driver execution working hand in hand to transform a P21 start into an impressive P6 finish.

Max's podium in Spa marked Oracle Red Bull Racing's 300th in Formula 1 history, coming just two decades after the Team's first at the 2006 Monaco GP.
